ArangoDB is an open-source, highly scalable Graph Database with Multi-Model capabilities. In addition to graph, it is natively supporting a number of data-models, including Document and Key-Value as well as Full-Text Search and Retrieval. It serves as the scalable backbone for Graph-Analytics and complex data architectures across many different industries. Developers can build high-performance applications using a convenient SQL-like query language or JavaScript extensions. Oh, and did we mention it is open source?

We are looking for a Technical Account Manager with experience with NoSQL databases. Ideally, you also have experience (or curiosity) in Graph Database, Graph Analytics and Machine Learning.

We are a remote team headquartered in San Francisco (US) and Cologne (Germany). For this position, we are looking for someone located in Israel.

You Will:

  • Be the trusted liaison between our most valued customers and the ArangoDB team
  • Provide Product Management, Engineering, and internal stakeholders with regular feedback regarding customer demands and trends
  • Advocate and educate use cases, features, and best practice materials for all aspects of ArangoDB to customers with presentations and high-level demonstration
  • Run deep technical customer training and enablement sessions comfortably
  • Solve technical problems of our clients with the best solution for the client in mind
  • Grow product usage and footprint at the customer

Your Skills:

  • You bring prior experience in customer-facing roles (pre- or post-sales), Distributed Systems and NoSQL technologies to the table
  • You have broad and thorough knowledge (at least 3 years of professional experience) of systems and application design
  • You are confident with at least one of the major Cloud providers as well as containerization systems (Kubernetes)
  • You are comfortable with Unix/Linux system administration (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • You have experience with at least one programming language, e.g., Java, C++, Javascript, Golang
  • Knowledge of graph databases is a plus
  • With your strong troubleshooting and excellent technical communication skills you can communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders and maintain valuable customer relationships
  • You remain calm in high-pressure situations and adapt quickly to change
