What Docker is for applications and Kubernetes for orchestration, team ArangoDB is building for data. ArangoDB is a native multi-model database supporting graph, document and key/value in one database engine and one query language. We believe that you should use the right data model for the right job. But we do not think that developers should have to live with the burden of managing multiple databases to do so. With the latest success of our open source project, we could prove to be solving a real thing.

As part of our Technical Communications Team you will be crafting the learning experience at ArangoDB. Help new users to quickly understand how things work and guide experienced users through new features. Mastering a new technology can be challenging, but learning can definitely be interesting and fun. We are looking for an experienced Engineer to join ArangoDB full-time and create a world-class learning experience with us.

Our headquarter is in San Francisco (US), our development hub is in Cologne (Germany) and our diverse team includes workmates at remote locations worldwide. So do you prefer your desk at home or do you want to join our modern family at one of our locations? Your choice.

Character traits we are looking for

  • A fascination for data, databases and sharing knowledge
  • The absolute willingness to build something great!
  • Curiosity to learn about new technologies, techniques and use cases
  • Patience for details without getting lost in them
  • You like to laugh a lot, also about yourself :)
