Join our Customer Success Team at ArangoDB to provide high-quality post-sales services to our Enterprise Customers. As Teamlead of our Database Support, you can contribute your expertise and personality to make our Customers and Community Users successful, and build a world-class NoSQL database with us. You will be part of a committed and globally distributed team.


All candidates in Europe & East Coast US will be considered. This will be a fully remote role.

About the Role:

  • You are managing our growing support team as well as being hands-on with providing a quantifiable and awesome technical customer support experience for all our users, via our ticketing system, and video calls
  • Work closely with customers to troubleshoot ArangoDB problems and focus on code-related areas where you will need to reproduce issues and replicate customer environments as needed
  • Interact with our Engineering Team to drive towards resolution of the most challenging issues you will encounter and document issues to our internal team documentation
  • Educate customers on best practices for all aspects of ArangoDB
  • Advocate the Customer’s perspective during product and architecture planning
  • Work directly with Field Operations (Sales, PreSales) and Product Management to process defects and feature requests encountered during adoption and usage of ArangoDB

Your Skills:

  • You know how to build a successful customer-facing team and establish reliable processes and KPIs
  • Technical knowledge of Distributed Systems and Databases, SQL or NoSQL technologies, especially graph technologies is a plus
  • Unix/Linux system administration (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Experience with at least one programming language, e.g. Java, C++, Javascript, GoLang
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with ticketing systems (JIRA, Zendesk, etc.)
  • Experience with containerization (Kubernetes) is a plus
  • Remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to change
