ArangoDB is an open-source, highly scalable Graph Database with Machine Learning capabilities. In addition to Graph, it is natively supporting several data models, including Document and Key-Value, as well as Full-Text Search and Retrieval. It serves as the scalable backbone for Graph-Analytics and complex data architectures across many different industries. Oh, and did we mention it is open source?

As Product Marketing Manager, you have an essential role in growing our Graph ML product’s user and customer base globally. You will be encouraged to think creatively about driving product awareness on a global scale for an innovative product and will be given an essential role in shaping ArangoDB’s marketing strategy in a startup environment.

About the Role

  • You are responsible for the product positioning and messaging of ArangoDB in the Graph Analytics space, distilling key functionalities into product marketing messages
  • You become an expert on our target market segmentation and lead competitive product analysis efforts
  • You develop and execute go-to-market strategies and plans
  • You create compelling content (blog posts, white papers, case studies, collaterals) for various use cases
  • You measure success by tracking relevant metrics and KPIs

Your Skills

  • Prior experience in Product Marketing for a Developer or Data Science-focused product
  • Ideally, a deep understanding of topics like graph, analytics, and machine learning
  • Familiarity with standard Marketing tools (CRM, Analytics, etc.)
  • Understanding of product marketing tactics (e.g., marketing campaigns)
  • Strong analytical skills
